I don't even like their energy drink, and I certainly don't like seeing both drivers on the Podium (yet again). But as I mentioned previously, I'm good with Perez being up there, and like I also mentioned before, give the guy a fast car, and see good results. But holy hell, how about those Ferraris??

What a crazy ending! My wife is a HUGE Sainz fan, and Ferrari fan, but she was absolutely yelling at the screen at the end about how risky it was letting Leclerc and Sainz duke it out for 3rd. She was pretty livid, and it was a proud 'husband getting his wife into F1' moment for me watching her yell obscenities at the screen for the final laps. Will this be the turning point for Ferrari to see themselves back on track (pun intended) for more podium finishes to close out the season? No. It will be for Sainz more so than Leclerc, but I still don't think they have their sh*t together to be consistent through the end of the season. Vasseur needs to lay the groundwork for better consistency at Scuderia Ferrari, or he will be seeing the way out soon too. Too many years now of poor decision making. Overall though, a very good race for the boys in Red.

As for the boys in black and green? Russell 5th, and Hamilton 6th was definitely a good showing, even with the penalties at the end, on a low down force track that doesn't suit their car quite well. But holy hell did they have some pace at times. Look for them to make some noise in Singapore.

The big story, and yup I called it last week, Albon! Man that kid is lighting it up this season. He is having an awesome season by his standards and Williams. And wow, that Williams is a drag strip car on the straights! Fun to watch Albon doing well, and just hope Sargeant can run into a bit of better luck moving forward.

On to Singapore!
