Damn it Jim, you're a Team Principal not a doctor! But are you starting to make some surgical moves?

James Vowles is now half way thru his first "full" season as Team Principal at Williams. Half way in and only 4 points....um, not the best of starts for the new boss eh?

Truly its not James' fault. He inherited a Williams team still trying to find themselves, and some pace other than on the straights. It doesn't help that to start the year, they were down on parts, a spare chassis, and two drivers hell bent on going thru the stock on hand.

Logan Sargeant is done. His only hope for the rest of the season is to score a moral victory of his own. Alex Albon however has the ire of desire, and it's his flashes of what could be, that keeps him in the seat for next season. He's gonna need to string as much of those flashes together as he can, for the Williams paddock is about to be bathed in Spanish light.

Is Carlos Sainz the savior Williams needs? Not necessarily, but, adding Vowles and his wealth of knowledge, Sainz stellar driving capabilities is a huge step. I think the team of Albon and Sainz will work well, and provide for a newly charged atmosphere at the big W. Both have that plesant demeanor off the track. But once in the drivers seat, knifes edge and podiums are not only the goal, but the expectation for each driver.

Will the Williams team get it together and follow suit for what could lay ahead. It remains to be seen, but the pieces are being put in place to get it done. Second half goals are to set the game in play, and score some points!
